How much will it cost to transport my car?
The cost of transporting an automobile is determined by several factors: the distance involved, the type of vehicle (SUV’s are bigger and heavier, so they cost more to transport), whether or not the vehicle is in running condition etc. And most importantly it depends on the market price for other vehicles being shipped throughout the nation. Each season is different.
Does Autos On The Go insure the vehicles they transport?
Yes. Each and every vehicle we transport is fully insured up to $1,000,0000 cargo and $1,000,000 public liability with no deductibles to our customers. This is our standard policy.
Where will you pick up my car?
Autos On The Go will schedule door-to-door service, but sometimes the transporter is unable to manage an 80-foot truck through a residential neighborhood or narrow dirt road. In this case, the driver may ask you to meet him at the nearest parking lot.
Am I allowed to place personal items in the car being shipped?
Any personal property must be confined to trunk, with no heavy articles, and not to exceed 50 lbs. Carrier is not liable for personal items left in vehicle, nor for damage caused to vehicle from excessive or improper loading of personal items.
When should I schedule a pickup?
The ideal scenario is for us to be informed at least one week in advance prior to your requested transport date in order for us to reserve space for your vehicle on the truck and coordinate the proper logistics. Most of the time we can work with even shorter time frames and welcome any request.
Do I have to be present when my vehicle is picked up?
You or your designated representative must be present to sign the release form upon pickup, and to accept the vehicle upon delivery.
How can I check on the status of my transport?
We provide you with a toll free number you can call at all times in order to check the status. We also reply within minutes via email or text message.
